During their ConnectME Digital Residency, Rawan AlMahrouqi (Oman) and Alexis Maxwell (UK), and Alaa Tarabzouni (Saudi Arabia) and Ellie Niblock (UK) created new, collaborative work that considered how digital tools encouraged connectivity across borders. From 3D scanning found objects posted from the Gulf to the UK, to exploring parallel experiences through animation, each pair ran with the brief and we are so excited about what they’ve produced.
